Modular Piano is a solo program in which Tony Roe explores sonic sound possibilities using modular synths. Together with visual artist Marcel Wierkcx, he explores the boundaries of interactivity between music and visuals. Roe uses the piano not only as a musical instrument, but simultaneously as an interface that controls various synths, as well as visuals.
